Overview
The Boya BY-BM3011 is a compact and sturdy directional condenser microphone, which is designed to improve the sound quality over standard built in microphones.
With both TRS cable and TRRS output cable included, it can be used with a variety of devices such as: Smartphones, Tablets, DSLR cameras, Camcorders, Audio Recorders & Laptops/PC’s.
With cardioid pickup pattern, the BY-BM3011 will reduce ambient noise pickup while recording sound with greater clarity in a focused direction.
The BY-BM3011 includes a foam windscreen and a wind cover that helps to decrease vocal plosives and wind noise when recording dialog in different audio environments.

Additional Operating Instructions
Some Android Smartphones require the use of an application to allow for an external microphone to be picked up by the smartphone operating software. We recommend "Open Camera" and within the app settings select "Use External Microphone."
Smartphones and DSLR cameras use the 3.5mm audio jack. Please ensure your device has this available before purchasing. iPhone users may utilize the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter to create a port for the BM3011.
