Additional Operating Instructions
Some Android Smartphones require the use of an application to allow for an external microphone to be picked up by the smartphone operating software. We recommend "Open Camera" and within the app settings select "Use External Microphone."
Smartphones and DSLR cameras use the 3.5mm audio jack. Please ensure your device has this available before purchasing. iPhone users may utilize the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter to create a port for the M1 Pro.
The M1 Pro has the necessary cable with capsule switch to change from TRRS to TRS (Smartphone to DSLR.) Please do not use additional adapters that are not required.
